Adopt Don't Shop- Rescue Animals Make Amazing Pets!

The goal of the ACHS is to find permanent, loving, forever homes for the animals in our facility. Our goal is to find the right match for each animal and family. The first step in the adoption process is to complete and submit an adoption application online. Next, give us a call at 608-339-6700 to schedule a time to meet with the animal you are interested in. This allows us to get the application pre-approved before you come. If pre-approved and it is a good match you can adopt the same day.  

All dogs/ puppies are spayed or neutered. They are current on their rabies vaccination (if older than 4 months),  their Distemper, and their Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations. They have been de-wormed, on flea/tick preventative, have been tested for heartworm (if older than 6 months), and on heartworm preventative. All animals are microchipped.

Dogs 1 year and younger are $350.00.
Dogs 1 - 8 years are $250.00.
Senior dogs over 9 years are $150.00

All cats/ kittens are spayed or neutered. They are current on their rabies vaccination (if older than 4 months), Distemper vaccination, de-wormed, and on flea/tick preventative. All felines are also microchipped.

Cats up to 1 year are $75.00.
Cats 1 - 8 years are $50.00.
Senior kitties over 9 years are $25.00.

We offer reduced adoption prices for animals that are bonded with another animal to help bonded pairs stay in the same home. Or even if you are interested in adopting more than one animal.

We also offer reduced fees, or even no fees, on animals that are adoptable but have a medical condition.

We are happy to keep your application on file until we find the purrfect match for you!
