Adoption Fees

Every year, hundreds of companion animals find their way to our shelter.

Each one receives a safe place to stay, compassionate care, and any necessary medical treatment. Your support through adoption fees helps us provide these vital services, ensuring every pet is ready to join your family as a happy, healthy companion.

Bonded animals are generally adopted together. We believe it is important for their health and well-being to keep them together in the same home.

A reduced fee is offered when adopting more than one animal, such as bonded pairs.

Dogs

Dogs receive the following prior to adoption:

  • spayed/neutered
  • microchip
  • current on their rabies vaccination (if older than 3 months)
  • distemper vaccination
  • dewormer administered
  • tested for heartworm (if older than 6 months)
  • receive flea, tick & heart worm preventative
  • bordetella vaccination

Puppies under 6 months – $375
Dogs 6 months to 1 year – $350
Dogs 1 year to 6 years – $250
Dogs over 6 years – $175
Dogs under 25 pounds AND under 3 years – $375

Cats

Cats & kittens receive the following prior to adoption:

  • spayed/neutered
  • microchip
  • current on their rabies vaccination (if older than 3 months)
  • distemper vaccination
  • dewormer administered
  • receive flea and tick preventative

Kittens under 6 months – $110
Cats 6 months to 1 year – $90
Cats 1 year to 6 years – $75
Cats over 6 years – $50
