Shyann, at age 10 is a big help and a face we see often
at the shelter. She loves to help out in the cat room
where she spends most of her volunteer time helping
care for the cats and gives them lots of needed
attention. She also helps walk the dogs on occasion.
Shyann is a big help and has a strong desire to help the
animals who have the misfortune of being homeless
and looking for their new family's.
Shyann's dream is to find a good home for all the
animals especially the older ones.
Thank you Shyann for all your help!
Pat Sutter has been a big help in the cat room. She
volunteers a few hours, 4 days a week to help with all
the care and cleaning of the cats. She enjoys
volunteering her time, it gives her personal satisfaction
knowing she is helping the cats until they can find a
good home.
Pat would like to ask for more people to volunteer as
they are much needed. She also would like to remind
people during the holidays seasons to remember the
animals, to donate food and supplies to the shelter.
Lynn Moen has been helping the cats in the shelter
since about 2005. She comes and helps do all the
cleaning in the cat room once a week. She is not only
a big help to the people and animals at the shelter
with her volunteer work she is a board member as
well. She is seen here holding Boots.
Lynn would like to ask the community to come
volunteer and help the busy staff with the cleaning,
walking dogs and to just help give attention and
socialize the cats and dogs. You can just come and
sit with the animals if that is all you would like. It all
helps the animals get one more step closer to finding
loving forever homes.
We wanted to honor & thank our volunteers
