| Adopting a friend All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire. ACHS has the right to reject any application. The cost to adopt a dog is $135.00 and all puppies under 5 months of age are $185. The cost to adopt a cat is $50.00 An adoption application can be filled out on line or in person. For further information, please call the shelter during business hours. When coming to pick up your new adopted pet please bring your own collar and leash for dogs or your own cat carrier for cats. All dogs and cats you currently own must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccination to be approved to adopt. |
| All dogs will be Spayed/Neutered, microchipped Current on Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough vaccination, Heart worm tested and will be dewormed. |
| They are current on Rabies, Distemper Spayed/ neutered, dewormed and are tested negative for FIV/ FeLV. |
